Sound familiar?
Hours of totalling by hand
Adding FA scores into SA totals and finding grades for every subject and child takes days and invites mistakes.
Progress cards typed one by one
The office copies marks and attendance into each card, and one wrong number means printing again.
Parents wait for the card
Families only learn results on report card day, and the card is easy to lose.
What you get
Marks grid for each exam
Teachers type marks subject-wise in one grid, enter AB for absent or NA where a subject does not apply, and see how many cells are still pending.
Upload marks from CSV
Already have marks in a sheet? Upload a CSV file and the marks fill into the grid. AB and ABSENT are read as absent.
Automatic SA totals and grades
SA1 combines the written SA with FA1 and FA2; SA2 uses all four FAs, as per your rules. Grades follow the A1 to E scale with grade points 10 to 0.
Verify, lock and publish
Marks move from submit to verify to lock before you publish. Once locked, nobody can change them until you unlock.
Official main progress report
Print the Telangana main progress report with FA and SA marks, grades and month-wise attendance from June to April.
Hall tickets with photo
Make hall tickets for a whole class as a PDF, with photo and exam timetable. Parents can open the hall ticket in the app once it is published.

How it works
- 1
Create the exams

- 3
Check and publish
Verify and lock the marks, then publish results to students and parents.
- 4
Print the cards
Print main progress reports and hall tickets for the class in one go.
How CCE marks become a finished progress report
In the CCE pattern, each subject has four Formative Assessments (FA1 to FA4) and two Summative Assessments (SA1 and SA2). Working out the totals is where most of the time goes. Nipun Schools does this part for you.
You link each class to its six exams in the CCE progress engine. For SA1, the written SA marks are combined with the FA1 and FA2 scores. For SA2, all four FAs are used. The rules can be adjusted for your school. The system then calculates the percentage, the grade on the A1 to E scale, and the grade point from 10 down to 0. The default pass mark is 35 percent.
If your school records FA in parts, you can enter the four parts (R, N, P and Slip Test) and the FA total comes from them. If a maximum mark was set wrongly, the office can recompute FA results from the correct maximum. Entered marks are never changed by a recompute.
The main progress report then pulls everything together, including attendance for each month, ready to print. See also school ERP for Telangana.
Results reach parents without a paper chase
When you publish an exam, results appear in the parent and student login on the Nipun Schools app. Parents can open the CCE progress report for their child and save it as an image, so they always have a copy on their phone.
Hall tickets work the same way. The office prints them in bulk, two per A4 page or one per A5 page, and parents can open their child's hall ticket in the app once it is published. To avoid spam, printing hall tickets does not send messages to parents.
Inside the school, the student profile shows a CCE marksheet, an exam trend and a subject heatmap, so the principal can see which children need help before the next exam. Learn more about the parent and teacher app.
Questions schools ask
Can we change how SA totals use FA marks?
Yes. By default SA1 uses FA1 and FA2, and SA2 uses FA1 to FA4. The rules can be adjusted for your school in the CCE engine.
What if a student was absent for an exam?
Enter AB in the marks grid. Before marks can be submitted, every cell must have a mark, AB or NA.
Can teachers enter marks themselves?
Yes. Teachers have their own login with marks entry. The office or principal then verifies, locks and publishes.
Do parents get results on WhatsApp?
No. Results reach parents in the app and as an app notification. Results are not sent on WhatsApp.
Can we fix a wrong maximum mark after entry?
Yes. Correct the maximum and use FA results recompute. Totals, percentage, grade and rank refresh, and the entered marks stay as they were.
Is this only for state-board schools?
The CCE engine follows the FA and SA pattern. Schools on other patterns can still use the general exams, marks grid and results.
